The poetree of the soule

I’ve been off doing poet things. Sorry.

Oh, and I’m getting married on 10th October to Lisa – who is the love of my life, my soulmate, and my best friend in all the world (clichés seem appropriate here mainly because they are entirely true and apt).  I am so happy and feel very lucky to have found her 🙂

Ah yes, and I’m emigrating to the USA at the same time – middle America here I come!

  1. I love this picture of you in your work uniform. 😀 I’ve informed the midwest you are soon to arrive. They are quite excited (and so am I). xxx

  2. October 10 is as firm as we can make it given the vagaries of the USCIS and DHS visa processing system. In all likelyhood I will obtain my visa some time in September but that’s about as accurate as I can be with it. The US government works like a well-oiled but very slooooooooooow machine.

P.s. I thought red Georgian-style coats would not go down well in most parts of America, particularly around about July 4th… 😉

  3. My ancestors were shocked to find that anyone would dare to rise up and challenge their long-held belief that the world belonged to them and anyone non-English was practically living in the stone-age and existed solely for the purposes of labour and messianic conversion to facilitate salvation by proxy. Therefore camoflage was unnecessary to their way of thinking. 🙂

  4. Congratulations to you and Lisa and I will be thinking of you on Oct 10th if that’s the date if not I will make sure I am aware of the new date. I am not going as far only 300 miles but the upheaval will be worth it in the long run…
